Travel Nurse Source  is working with Health Advocates Network to find a qualified PCU RN in Torrance, California, 90502.

• 12 hours
• 36 hrs per week
• Days, nights, weekends and holidays

• Telemetry/PCU

• Profiles must be submitted only for RNs fully committed to an 8-week assignment.
• Required certifications include active Registered Nurse license, AHA BLS, NIHSS Certification, MAB or CPI, LA City Fire and Life Safety card (must be LA City), and completion of the LA County Employee Health Clearance prior to the assignment start date.

RNs with a minimum of recent two (2) years of Progressive Care Unit/Step Down Unit/Telemetry experience in a Level 1 Trauma Institution in a metropolitan city with diverse population are required. The role involves caring for patients with heart conditions, post-cardiac procedures, arrhythmias, and heart failure from initial assessment to end-of-life care, requiring continuous cardiac monitoring.

RNs must be competent in telemetry monitoring and ECG rhythms interpretation. Responsibilities include delivering intense interventions for a variety of medical conditions such as recovering from surgery, and providing lifesaving treatments and complex care for patients with life-threatening illnesses or conditions.
