Rhino Medical is actively seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner for PRN urgent care locum tenens coverage in Torrance, California.

This is an outpatient urgent care setting serving walk‑in patients of all ages. Providers will work in a supportive, provider‑driven environment focused on efficient, patient‑centered care.

Assignment Overview

• Location: Torrance, CA
• Practice Setting: Outpatient Urgent Care
• Contract Type: PRN Locum Tenens
• Open Dates:
  • August: 7, 10, 12, 14, 17, 19

Hours of Operation

• Monday – Saturday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Patient Volume: 15–20 patients per day
• EMR: Paper charting

Clinical Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat walk‑in urgent care patients
• Provide care for pediatric and adult populations
• Diagnose and manage common acute conditions
• Perform basic in‑office procedures as needed
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation

Provider Requirements

• Active, unrestricted California NP license
• Active DEA registration
• Board Certified NP (AANP or ANCC)
• Minimum 1 year of relevant clinical experience (Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, or Family Practice preferred)
• Comfortable treating patients of all ages
