Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse

Prime Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR – Operating Room for a travel nursing position in Torrance, California.

Shift Details: Day 3x12‑hour shifts with 1 Saturday shift per 6‑week rotation, 2–3 on‑call shifts per 6‑week rotation. Must be willing to float to San Pedro or Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center in San Pedro at manager discretion. All travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state.

Hospital Highlights: Acute Care Hospital, 356 beds. Primary charting system:
Epic. Parking: free.

• Assist in surgical procedures including but not limited to abdominal/vaginal hysterectomy, cholecystectomy, arthroscopy, laparoscopic assisted cases, and other OR interventions.
• Provide advanced peri‑operative nursing care for patients across all age groups.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic charting system.
• Participate in surgical rounds and post‑operative patient care.
• Adhere to hospital policies, emergency protocols, and compliance requirements.

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
• Minimum 1 year of post‑licensure experience in an OR setting (first‑timers accepted).
• Current BCLS certification is required.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
• Ability to work 12‑hour day shifts, weekends, and on‑call duties as scheduled.
• Willingness and ability to travel and float between facilities.

Pay package based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
