The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) plays a crucial role in supporting the Chief Clinical Officer in overseeing the clinical operations of our skilled nursing facility while ensuring high-quality care.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assist in the planning, organization, and implementation of nursing services in accordance with professional standards and regulations.
• Supervise nursing staff including RNs, LVNs, and CNAs, ensuring adherence to care protocols.
• Coordinate resident care activities with the healthcare team, enhancing interdisciplinary communication.
• Assist in ongoing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident care plans.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to staff training and development to promote effective nursing practices.
• Support the Chief Clinical Officer in administrative functions and operational planning.
• Support the clinical team to promote retention and job satisfaction
• Provide support the clinical team after hours and over the weekend when necessary
• Responsible for hiring, progressive discipline, training, mentoring, and coaching staff
