ACCESS South Bay is seeking an ER Supervisor to join our growing team. We are one of the largest, most advanced, and progressive veterinary multi‑specialty referral groups in So Cal, offering emergency, critical care, cardiology, internal medicine, neurology and surgery. JobPurpose
- Provide the primary point of contact for technical questions, comments, concerns, and issues.
- Decrease time spent by doctors and technical staff replicating responsibilities or missing duties by providing oversight for all technical employees in the moment.
- Oversee individuals working on any given shift to ensure excellent work product.
- Review patient/doctors issues that arise to allow for expedient and satisfactory resolution.
- Assign patients to appropriate groups based on case severity and technical skill level.
- Update full patient census forms and patient board regularly during shift.
- Update the Triage Board as necessary in a triage‑center‑in‑certification‑process hospital.
- Ensure rounds are appropriately handled as patients are transferred from one person to the next.
- Act as primary person for resource management of technical staff within the Emergency Department.
- As assigned by the Technician Manager, train staff in any technical areas requested.
- Serve as the primary key‑holder or Cubex resource as needed.
- Minimum of two years of ER experience in a lead/supervisor role.

$29 – $36 per hour + $2 per hour differential.
