Description
- Manage and maintain AS9100 certification including audits, corrective actions, and system improvements.
- Responsible for establishing, documenting, developing, and managing Quality Systems in ERP and servers. Ensures QS compliance with company policies and procedures to meet the needs of the business.
- Lead internal, external, and customer audits.
- Interpret and implement customer quality clauses, regulatory requirements, and contractual quality flow-down requirements.
- Oversee compliance programs including RoHS, REACH, DFARS material restrictions, and country-of-origin certifications.
- Establish and manage processes for nonconforming material including MRBs, NCRs, and containment actions.
- Manage Vendor RMAs and internal RMAs including corrective action tracking.
- Lead ESD, FOD, and material security compliance programs.
- Lead Management Review activities including development, monitoring, and reporting of quality performance metrics and improvement initiatives.
- Establish, track, and analyze key quality performance indicators including customer returns, internal yield, supplier performance, and on-time delivery quality metrics.
- Maintain and monitor quality risk assessments and support risk-based decision making across manufacturing and supply chain operations.
- Review supplier quality systems and manage supplier audits and SCARs.
- Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to drive continuous improvement.
- Provide training and guidance to quality inspectors, engineers, and manufacturing staff.
- Performs other duties and/or specific projects as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in technical field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 7 years of quality experience in aerospace, electronics, RF, or precision manufacturing.
- Minimum 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong working knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality systems.
- Experience managing audits, corrective actions, and nonconformance systems.
- Proficient in quality processes such as root cause analysis, NCRs, CAPAs, metrology, AS9102 FAIRs, MRRs, and various problem-solving approaches.
- Proficient in using standard quality inspection tools and equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to balance hands-on execution with leadership responsibilities.
- High attention to detail and regulatory discipline.
- Organized, self-motivated, and effective in a fast-paced environment.
- ASQ certification such as CMQ/OE or CQE is preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites.
