Poly Peptide is a global leader in peptide manufacturing, supporting innovative therapies worldwide. We are seeking a Quality Control Chemist to perform analytical testing and ensure our products meet the highest GMP and quality standards.
Position Summary
The Quality Control Chemist performs testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using a variety of analytical instruments. This role is responsible for accurate data documentation, equipment calibration, and identifying potential quality issues while supporting a compliant laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform analytical testing using HPLC/UPLC, GC, MS, FTIR, LC/MS, and related instruments
* Prepare samples and solutions per established methods
* Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment
* Document all work in compliance with cGMP requirements
* Identify and report quality issues and support corrective actions
* Assist with SOP updates and maintain lab cleanliness
Qualifications
* BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field
* 1+ years of cGMP lab experience (pharma/biotech preferred)
* Experience with analytical instrumentation (HPLC, GC, etc.)
* Strong attention to detail and technical documentation skills
* Ability to manage priorities and work both independently and on a team
