Perform mechanical/visual inspections on incoming purchased parts and/or assemblies, in-process and finished parts, first article inspections on machined purchased parts in-house and/or at vendor facilities when required;
Inspect incoming hardware utilizing TIPQA software inspection plans;
Work from approved inspection plans, engineering drawings, purchase orders, operation sheets and specifications;
Use a variety of precision measuring instruments to verify compliance on dimensions, angles, radii, contours, holes, surface finishes, concentricity, hardness, material and plating;
Maintain daily logs and initiate non-conforming documentation for parts not meeting requirements
