Perform in-process and final inspections using CMM equipment and conventional inspection tools.
Interpret blueprints, GD&T, engineering drawings, and specifications to verify product conformity.
Run CMM inspection programs as required.
Verify dimensional accuracy and accurately document inspection results.
Identify nonconforming parts and initiate discrepancy or rejection documentation when necessary.
Work closely with the Quality Supervisor to resolve dimensional and quality-related issues.
Maintain inspection records and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
Follow company quality procedures, safety requirements, and housekeeping standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience operating CMM equipment in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Basic understanding of GD&T principles.
Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
Basic computer skills and ability to complete inspection documentation accurately.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Must possess strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with Quality, Engineering, and Production personnel.
Preferred Qualifications / Skills Experience operating CMM equipment such as Hexagon, Zeiss, Mitutoyo, or similar systems.
Familiarity with CMM software such as PC-DMIS or Calypso.
Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading.
Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or precision machining environments preferred.
Ability to use precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and comparators.
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and manage inspection priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Range $28–$35 per hour DOE (Depending on Experience)
