Inspector - Level 3

Job Description

As an Inspector - Level 3 here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in maintaining the quality and compliance of our aerospace products through meticulous inspection processes. Your expertise will ensure that our manufacturing operations meet the highest standards of safety and performance. You will report directly to the Inspection Manager and work out of our Torrance, CA location on an on‑site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the reliability and safety of aerospace components, contributing directly to Honeywell's reputation for excellence and compliance with industry standards.

• Perform detailed inspections of aerospace components and assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Document inspection results and communicate findings to engineering and production teams.
• Identify and report non-conformances and participate in corrective action processes.

The annual base salary range for this position is $55,300.00 - $82,900.00. Salary is based on various factors including scope and responsibilities, candidate experience, education, training, key skills, and market considerations. Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, the candidate must be a U.S. person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or hold protected status).

• Experience in inspection within aerospace manufacturing or a related industry is required.
• Strong knowledge of inspection tools and techniques, including precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Familiarity with aerospace quality standards such as AS9100 is preferred.
• Proven ability to identify defects and ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements.

• Previous experience in aerospace or manufacturing inspection roles.
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow established procedures.
