Assembler; 2nd shift - Temporary

Position Summary and Responsibilities

Responsible for operating various automatic and semi-automatic machinery. Perform quality inspections on all parts produced, bagged or packaged in carriers. Keep areas clean, organized and practice proper storage of tools. Other duties as assigned by Lead/Supervisor.

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED); vocational school training acceptable.
• 6 months to 1 year of previous related experience preferred.
• Ability to work with a microscope, small hand tools, good manual dexterity and hand/eye/tool coordination.
• Basic computer skills for data entry on a daily basis for labor hours and inventory control.
• Cross trained on equipment as needed, continuing to build knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Ability to work as a team as well as independently.
• Good oral and written communication skills and basic math. Ability to interpret written or diagrammatic instructions.

Occasional standing, walking, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching; lift and carry 10–24 lbs. Frequent listening and speaking. Continuous sitting, hand use, and reaching.

Identify and distinguish colors, use close vision, adjust focus, determine depth.

Exposure to vapors, airborne particles or toxic chemicals, work near moving mechanical parts or equipment. Drug‑free workplace required; background check and drug screen required. Must be a US Person (citizens, nationals, lawful permanent residents, asylees or refugees).

Salary range: $34,300 – $45,700 (estimate; actual compensation based on education, training, experience and other factors).
