As an Inspector - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of aerospace products through detailed inspection and testing processes. Your attention to detail and commitment to standards will help maintain Honeywell's reputation for excellence in the aerospace industry.
You will report directly to our Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Torrance, CA location on an On-site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the safety, reliability, and performance of aerospace components by identifying defects and ensuring adherence to strict quality standards, supporting Honeywell’s mission to deliver superior aerospace solutions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of aerospace components and assemblies to detect defects and ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Use precision measuring instruments and inspection tools to verify product dimensions and characteristics.
- Document inspection results accurately and communicate findings to relevant teams for corrective actions.
The annual base salary range for this position is . Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Faa Requirements
All applicants for placement in DOT/FAA safety-sensitive positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test, testing for Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines (amphetamine, methamphetamine, MDMA, MDA), Phencyclidine (PCP), and Opioids (codeine, heroin, morphine, oxycodone, oxymorphone, hydrocodone, hydromorphone). The DOT/FAA regulations require all employees, regular and temporary, in safety-sensitive positions, to be included in the Honeywell Anti-drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Plan.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Proven experience in inspection and quality control within a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
- Strong knowledge of inspection techniques, quality standards, and use of precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately.
- Familiarity with quality documentation and reporting procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
- Experience in aerospace or high-reliability manufacturing inspection roles.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow safety protocols.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving quality standards and technologies.
