Job SummaryThe Quality Control Inspector is responsible for conducting receiving, in-process, and final inspections of materials and finished products to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards. This individual will work closely with Engineering and Production teams to maintain product integrity, document quality findings, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and mechanical specifications.
- Inspect electronic and cable assemblies for workmanship and labeling accuracy.
- Utilize measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and microscopes.
- Document and process non-conformance reports in QT9.
- Maintain inspection records and material status identification.
- Assist with sorting, containment activities, and rework verification.
- Communicate quality concerns with internal departments and management.
- Experience inspecting electronic assemblies, cable assemblies, or electro-mechanical products.
- Experience working within an ISO 9001 quality system.
- Familiarity with ERP and Quality Management Systems.
- Experience with QT9 or similar nonconformance management software.
