Position Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector with experience inspecting electronic, electro-mechanical, video, audio, or cable assemblies in a manufacturing or production environment.

This is a hands-on, on-site position where you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and conformance of professional AV products before they are released and shipped.

You’ll work closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to inspect incoming materials, verify finished products, identify nonconformances, and maintain accurate quality records.

Please note:

This is NOT a remote or hybrid position.

• Read and interpret basic engineering drawings for mechanical components and cable assemblies.
• Perform receiving inspections and product-level inspections to verify material and product conformance.
• Inspect incoming raw materials using industry-standard inspection equipment.
• Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, microscopes, and other measuring tools to verify dimensional and visual requirements.
• Inspect electronic assemblies and cable assemblies for workmanship, defects, labeling, and overall quality.
• Identify, document, and communicate nonconforming materials and products.
• Process nonconformance records in QT9, including accurate data entry and supporting documentation.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and ensure proper material status identification.
• Communicate inspection results and quality concerns to the QC Manager and internal departments.
• Assist with sorting, containment, rework verification, and corrective activities when required.
• Maintain organized inspection areas, equipment, and quality documentation.
• Follow established quality procedures, work instructions, and inspection standards.
• Perform additional quality-related duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing, production, electronics, or similar environment preferred.
• Basic understanding of electronic or electro-mechanical assemblies is a plus.
• Experience working within a documented quality system; ISO 9001 experience preferred.
• Familiarity with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and microscopes.
• Experience using an ERP, QMS, or quality management system for data entry is a plus.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer applications.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to consistently follow written procedures, specifications, and work instructions.
• Comfortable inspecting small components and assemblies under magnification.
• Strong ability to identify visual, dimensional, labeling, and workmanship defects.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to write concise and accurate inspection notes and documentation.
• Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance.
• Willingness to ask questions and seek clarification when requirements are unclear.
• Ability to work independently after training while collaborating effectively with other departments.
• Comfortable standing, sitting, and moving between inspection stations for extended periods.
