Smart & Final invites you to join our store operations team as a Part‑time Retail Associate. The role involves stocking and maintaining store sections, assisting customers, and ensuring a clean and organized environment.

• Maintain assigned store section and stock merchandise using proper equipment.
• Ensure correct pricing, check product date codes, and perform rotation.
• Prepare perishable products and set up advertising/promotional displays.
• Clean and maintain sanitation standards in all interior and exterior areas.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to customers and load purchases into vehicles when requested.
• Record lost, damaged goods and supplies; perform basic bookkeeping duties.

• Read and write in English; able to interact with the general public and coworkers.
• Read and understand simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Apply common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Lift and move up to 25 lbs regularly, 45 lbs frequently, and 60 lbs occasionally.
