Assistant Store Manager Visual Merchandising , Fabletics; Del Amo Mall - Torrance, CA

Position Overview

Fabletics is seeking a passionate and driven Assistant Store Manager, Visual Merchandising for our Retail Store at Del Amo Mall in Torrance, CA. The role supports brand consistency and standards through merchandising and product management, working closely with the Store Manager to create a best‑in‑class employee environment and exceptional customer experience.

• Act as liaison between corporate direction and store execution.
• Interpret and translate corporate visual merchandising direction into consistent weekly, monthly, and seasonal brand presentation.
• Manage brand aesthetic, including substitutions and adaptations for merchandise presentations, interior displays, fixture placement, and mannequin styling.
• Partner with HQ visual teams to plan, oversee, and execute product placement, fixture layouts, displays, and window installations for corporate floor‑set rollouts.
• Conduct in‑store training using visual merchandising tools and resources to develop and elevate store talent.
• Identify and follow up on preventive store deficiencies such as broken fixtures, damaged paint, façade issues, lighting problems, and overall fixture needs.
• Reinforce back‑of‑house organization, maintenance, and cataloguing of all visual props, mannequins, and fixtures; own all physical merchandise inventory from inbound delivery to retailing (RTW).
• Participate in corporate/field leadership visits, presenting and discussing visual successes and opportunities.
• Analyze inventory of key categories and communicate product needs in depth and assortment to Store/District Manager.
• Use sales reports to track, analyze, and react to business trends, ensuring the store meets or exceeds the financial plan and payroll goals.
• Partner with HQ teams to highlight opportunities or successes of corporate marketing, product, or visual merchandising initiatives.

• Minimum 2‑3 years of experience in a comparable retail environment focused on visual merchandising.
• Strong strategic planning and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize deadlines with agility and nimbleness.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with an entrepreneurial disposition.
• High‑level leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively and graciously with all levels within the organization.
• Strong influencing, problem analysis, and decision‑making skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Adobe Creative Suite, and macOS.
• Physical requirements:
  
  flexibility to work on/off‑peak hours including weekends and overnights; ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs.; comfort with heights and climbing ladders; able to stand and stretch for extended periods.
