Position Sales Representative & Marketing Department

Summary A Japanese equipment manufacturer is seeking a bilingual Sales representative to join their team. This role requires fluency in both English and Japanese. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B sales, excellent communication skills, and a proactive, self‑motivated attitude.

Essential Duties

• Responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, etc.
• Visiting prospective customers and conducting sales promotions
• Preparing quotations and negotiating prices with customers
• Demonstrating machines in the showroom or at customer sites (may involve carrying heavy machines)
• Delivering machines and providing operation training upon delivery
• Providing after‑sales support to customers
• Attending internal sales meetings
• Preparing sales activity reports for the manager
• Preparing in‑house documents for machine shipments
• Assisting visitors at exhibitions
• Supporting technical team and other departments as needed

Working Hours, Working style

Monday - Friday 9 AM - 5:30 PM

Salary/Benefit

Exempt $70‑75K (depending on experience)

Holidays

Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
All Saturday and Sunday Federal Holiday (19 days in case of Year 2026)

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of B2B sales experience.
• Business‑level English required;
  Japanese language skills are a strong plus but not mandatory
• Proficient in basic PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong communication skills for internal and external coordination
• Willingness to travel (20–25% of the time)
• Interest in Japanese (food) culture
• Frequently required to lift up to 85 lbs
