Bilingual Japanese​/English Account Sales Manager (Food) (CA​/YM

A food company is seeking a Bilingual Japanese/English Account Sales Manager to join their team Torrance, CA. This position is responsible for management of all sales related activities within the given territory and segment by keeping integrity and harmony with new and existing customers and sales activities in other areas of the market. A bachelor's degree, 3 years of food operations experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.

The ability to speak, read, and write Japanese is preferred. This is a full-time, hybrid, position with excellent benefits and 401k, plus comm.

• Sales operation functions and sales activities as Food Business accounts sales (sales calls, trade show meeting, traveling, etc.)
• Purchase Order (monitor PO fulfillment and quantities/pricing/price level sheet fulfillment)
• Forecasting (projections of orders and sales) and Budgeting as a Sales (sales and expenses planning)
• Communicate with distributors accounts for developing new accounts and maintaining existing accounts if necessary
• Introduce products to assigned territory and segment of market
• Inventory and Warehouse Transfers by communicating internally
• Aged Receivable Monitoring, Check-up, and Reminder for payments
• Collection activities of Account Receivable by supporting accounting team
• Liaison between sales and internal/external cross functional teams (operations, finance, marketing, brokers)
• Maintain all records, presentations, and reports on shared folder for Sales access and review

• Must have a bachelor's degree (Art, Science or related field) OR 3 years of experience in an R&D environment
• Must have 3 years of food service or food operations in US or CAN
• The ability to speak, read and write Japanese is preferred
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Must be able to travel
