As a  
** Security Officer - Multi-Site Patrol Driver

** Torrance, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support guests and tenants with clear, professional communication. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license that meets Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and/or guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail and mall location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including handling disturbances, medical calls, and/or property concerns, and escalating to site leadership and/or public services as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, loading zones, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify irregular conditions.

+ Monitor and document security-related activity, including completing written reports, incident logs, and/or access control records in accordance with site requirements.

+ Support loss prevention and customer assistance efforts by observing for suspicious behavior, providing directions and general assistance, and coordinating with on-site personnel regarding security-related concerns.

* + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
