Unarmed Security Officer – PT Swing Shift (Guarding)

Partnering with Electronic Security, Global Risk Services, Cyber Security, and Remote Services (iSOC) divisions, we create meaningful Hybrid Security solutions for prospects.

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general unarmed security duties.
• Promote safety by observing, correcting, and reporting any hazards.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• Provide customer service orientation and demonstrate basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
• Perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an unarmed security officer.

This position requires significant physical activity throughout the shift. Officers must be able to:

• Walk and stand for extended periods, completing multiple rounds and patrols of up to 1–2 miles per shift.
• Frequently climb stairs, ramps, or ladders as required by site patrol routes.
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Maintain alertness and situational awareness during all patrols.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

• 18+ years of age.
• California security guard card.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Capable of following complex instructions.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to participate in the company's screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures.

Part Time Shift: 2:00 pm – 9:00 pm (28 hours per week).

Work days: 2 days in Carson and 2 days in Torrance.

This job reports to Tyler Fletcher.
