Role:

The Com Sec Lead Supervisor is responsible for the overall operation of the Com Sec department, overseeing Com Sec Operators and Supervisors and reporting directly to the Site Manager on issues affecting the operation. This position requires vigilance, sound judgment, and the ability to lead a 24-hour emergency dispatch team, including monitoring alarm and CCTV systems, dispatching police, fire, and security units, and managing incoming emergency and non-emergency calls.

Strong leadership, communication, and multi-tasking skills are essential.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have or be able to obtain a BSIS Security Guard Registration (“Guard Card”) or have an ACE Card.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout an assigned shift.
• Customer service experience and a professional, service-oriented approach.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day activities of the Com Sec department
• Monitor the job performance of Com Sec Operators and Supervisors to identify improvements or take corrective action
• Review payroll timesheets to ensure accuracy
• Recommend and issue formal progressive discipline to subordinates and necessary
• Provide on-the-job and other training to new and current Com Sec personnel
• Advise employees, vendors, and visitors of corporate security policies
