• Install, repair, and maintain systems and equipment specific to trade (e.g., electrical systems)
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues and use expertise to find efficient solutions.
• Analyze blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to understand project requirements.
• Ensure all work is performed according to safety protocols, codes, and industry standards.
• Work autonomously while with team members to achieve project goals.
• Provide technical guidance to apprentices or less experienced technicians.

• Several years of experience after completing a formal apprenticeship program.
• A journeyman license or certification is required, depending on the specific trade and location.
• Strong understanding of the principles and practices of the specific trade; ability to calculate/determine power, amperage & voltage of new equipment and current equipment.
• Physical demands include lifting heavy objects, working at heights, and working in various environmental conditions.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and dependability skills.
