Mobile Performance Engineering Lead; SRE Lead

Qualifications

• Expertise in performance and test scripting to simulate real-world scenarios using Load Runner and JMeter
• Hands‑on experience with Load Runner and XCUITest (Apple’s native UI test automation framework)
• Proficiency with Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools such as Dynatrace or App Dynamics
• Proven ability to design and execute load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests for iOS mobile applications
• Strong analytical skills for identifying bottlenecks across application, device, network, and backend infrastructure
• Experience integrating performance testing into CI/CD pipelines (Dev Ops practices)
• Knowledge of mobile network conditions and their impact on application latency
• Familiarity with defining and governing SLAs and SLOs for complex mobile ecosystems
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization at the application and infrastructure level
• Ability to communicate complex technical findings to non‑technical stakeholders and product owners

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Performance Engineering Lead to join our onsite team in Torrance, CA. This role is pivotal in ensuring the stability, scalability, and responsiveness of our critical iOS mobile applications. The incumbent will take ownership of the performance lifecycle, partnering with developers, architects, and product teams to translate business requirements into robust performance benchmarks and deliver high‑quality, production‑grade mobile experiences.

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced performance test scripts for iOS mobile applications and supporting backend services
• Define and implement comprehensive performance testing strategies, establishing baselines and benchmarks to ensure application reliability
• Identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot performance issues throughout the SDLC and Agile release lifecycle, providing actionable tuning recommendations
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to define Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and performance KPIs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
• Develop performance dashboards and automated reporting mechanisms to track trends, providing proactive insights and root‑cause analysis for production performance
