Warehouse Material Handler

Talascend is currently seeking a Warehouse Material Handler for a contract opportunity with our client in Torrance, California
.

This role involves physically handling materials within a warehouse environment, following safety guidelines, and utilizing handling equipment to move materials efficiently.

• Load and unload materials within a warehouse or storage facility.
• Utilize hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move materials to and from aircraft, trucks, trains, and within the storage facility.
• Follow instructions and adhere to safety and warehouse guidelines.
• Learn and navigate proprietary SAP programs.
• Lift up to 35 pounds and spend the majority of the shift on your feet moving materials.
• Perform duties in accordance with established practices and procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in warehouse operations or related area.
• Knowledge of standard warehouse practices and procedures.
• Must be detail-oriented and capable of following instructions precisely.
• Comfortable learning new technical systems like SAP.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

Drug Screen may be required.
