Position Inventory Technician
Description
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Pay Range: $20.00–$25.00 per hour - depending on experience
All Access Staging & Productions is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Technician to join our Inventory team. This position is responsible for supporting the accurate tracking, preparation, organization, and maintenance of our rental equipment and inventory.
The ideal candidate is highly computer literate, comfortable learning inventory management software, and enjoys working in a hands-on warehouse environment. This role is a great fit for someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to balance computer-based inventory work with physical warehouse responsibilities.
This is an in-person role based at our Torrance, CA warehouse. Schedule flexibility, including weekends and overtime, may be required based on business and project needs.
What You'll Do- Maintain accurate equipment inventory using Flex Inventory Software.
- Scan equipment as it leaves and returns to the warehouse.
- Create and manage equipment pull sheets and will-call pull sheets.
- Assist with planning, tracking, organizing, and allocating rental equipment.
- Coordinate with the Inventory Manager to maximize equipment utilization and minimize unnecessary restocking.
- Maintain accurate barcodes and inventory records.
- Inspect returned equipment for damage, missing components, or functionality issues.
- Identify and communicate inventory discrepancies or equipment issues.
- Ensure equipment is properly organized, accounted for, and ready for upcoming projects.
- Follow company safety procedures, standard operating procedures, and warehouse practices.
- Complete required training and safety modules.
- Collaborate with the Inventory, Warehouse, and Project Management teams to support daily operations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous inventory, warehouse, equipment rental, or related experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn inventory management software.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Ability to use Excel to sort, filter, organize, and calculate data.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with touring equipment, live entertainment, staging, or production terminology is a plus.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
- Reliable transportation.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional.
- Ability to work weekends and overtime as needed.

- Ability to regularly lift and carry 50–75 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift throughout the workday.
- Ability to safely use small hand and power tools.
- Ability to visually inspect equipment, labels, barcodes, and inventory records.
- Ability to communicate effectively and hear instructions in a warehouse environment.
