Accounting Manager – Construction Industry

Salary: $110,000 - $135,000 per year

• Maintain and enhance accounting procedures and internal controls to support accurate and timely reporting.
• Oversee the preparation and review of monthly and annual financial statements.
• Ensure financial records are maintained in accordance with GAAP and internal policies.
• Support accounting activities for multiple entities and consolidated reporting.
• Supervise, coach, and develop accounting staff.
• Oversee general ledger activity, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Analyze balance sheet and income statement activity and investigate variances.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support audit requests.
• Participate in special projects, including systems enhancements and process improvements.
• Perform additional responsibilities as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibility.
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP and general accounting practices.
• Experience with accounting systems and related tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative working style.
