Safety Manager - CT

O&G Industries, Inc. is an innovative construction company based in Torrington, CT.

Safety Manager – We are seeking a professional with expertise in safety processes who can promote and enforce job‑site safety expectations.

This role manages various aspects of safety including accident investigations, training, site audits, equipment inspections, incident reporting, and OSHA enforcement across our Connecticut jobsites. The position requires in‑state travel and occasional night work, with a focus on building and heavy civil projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety/health or related field, or equivalent experience/education.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in occupational safety/health.
• Experience in construction safety required.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organized, flexible, able to work under pressure.
• Highly motivated, independent problem solver, and positive team member.
• Tech‑savvy, experienced with safety systems, claim reporting systems, and mobile inspection platforms.
• ASP, CSP, and/or CHST certification preferred.
