Preschool Substitute Teacher / Head Start

Academic Year / Part Time

Classrooms located in Torrington, Winsted, Plymouth, Watertown, and New Milford

$13.00 per hour

Flexible schedule. Hours as needed, between 7:30 am – 5:00 pm

All new hires must be vaccinated and show proof of vaccination.

• The Substitute Teacher works with other classroom teachers to provide a developmentally appropriate classroom experience for children.
• Other duties as may be assigned.

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with preschool‑aged children.
• Ability to work as a team member.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality about issues related to children and their families.
