Lead Supervisor Of Student Services

Provide leadership for the general supervision and direction of all student services staff. The lead supervisor of student services will work closely with supervisors of student services and all principals in carrying out the support services in their respective schools.

Certification and qualifications:
Must hold a valid state of connecticut teaching certificate with intermediate administrator and supervisor (092) endorsement plus cross-endorsement in special education or pupil personnel services. A thorough knowledge of the practices, methods, and techniques used in the administration and supervision of all facets of student support services. Federal, state, and local laws, codes, regulations, and ordinances related to the areas of responsibility for student services.

Section 504 requirements. Excellent oral and written communication skills. The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school officials, students, parents, support staff, associates, external organizations, agencies, and companies. Special education administration supervisory experience preferred.

Salary and terms of employment:
Twelve-month work year. Annual salary in accordance with the torrington public schools administrators association for the 2026/2027 school is $151,464 (prorated to date of hire). Qualified for, certified for, and interested in the above opportunity must apply by midnight, july 21, 2026.
