As Certification Engineer, you are responsible for ensuring that the design and manufacturing processes comply with all applicable regulations and standards, including those set by the FAA and EASA. You are responsible for providing support to Engineering, Programs and Contracts Management, Sales, Quality Assurance, and customers to ensure released products meet FAA requirements for appropriate use.
Responsibilities may include:- Support, manage, and administer Certification projects ensuring timely and successful completion
- Review Engineering drawings for certification/testing requirements
- Create Test Plans; define specimens, arrange for testing, complete reports
- Prepare FAA Certification documentation packages and reports to support various projects
- Maintain proper tracking and status
