Electronic Technician I — Full Time

Torrington, CT, US

Salary Range: see above.

• Perform testing of analog, digital, and microprocessor based systems
• Calibrate and maintain test fixtures
• Operate all test equipment including multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, and function generators
• Operate programming devices
• Analyze and interpret test information to resolve issues
• Support Supervisors and/or operators in the resolution of quality problems
• Actively participates in quality initiatives by participating in problem solving, process improvements and performance measurements
• Responsible for understanding and following company and manufacturing guidelines/procedures
• Responsible for product quality as defined by internal and external customers, work instructions, specifications and procedures
• Responsible for following established safety rules and 6S

• Strong communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to read and understand assembly documentation, test procedures, and all inspection criteria
• Ability to operate all test equipment including multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, function generators, and programming devices
• Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision

• Must have a high school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of one year of electronic technician or test related experience/training
• IPC-610 and IPC-620 certification

Work involves lifting of materials and product up to 30 pounds.
