Grinder Machine Operators needed in Torrington, CT!
Pay: $19-23/hr, based on experience
Hours:
Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm
Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in manufacturing, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to quality. Team members will contribute to the efficient production of components and assemblies according to company specifications and safety standards.
Grinding Machine Operator Responsibilities:- Operate grinding machines (surface, cylindrical, or roll grinding depending on experience)
- Grind, polish, and finish metal components to specifications
- Measure parts using micrometers and calipers
- Perform before and after inspections
Requirements:
- Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or machine operation preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and work instructions (especially for operators and machinists).
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Manufacturing or machining background
- Experience with precision or large components
- Ability to stand for long periods and handle heavy parts
