You

We’re seeking a result-focused, innovative, self-driven, and well-qualified individual to join our talented team as our Temp Chemical Operator - CND. In this role, you will safely and accurately execute chemical manufacturing work orders by operating industrial mixing and material‑handling equipment, following approved work instructions and safety controls, maintaining accurate production and inventory records, and producing finished goods that meet quality, regulatory, and shipped‑on‑time (LSOT) requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate industrial mixing and material‑handling equipment by setting and controlling mixing parameters per approved work instructions and using lift trucks, power jacks, and drum‑handling equipment to retrieve, stage, and return raw materials and work‑in‑process.
  • Execute chemical manufacturing work orders accurately and consistently by measuring, filling, blending, sealing, labeling, and processing materials in accordance with defined procedures to produce finished goods meeting quality and specification requirements.
  • Maintain safe, clean, and compliant production work areas by applying PPE requirements, following Safety Data Sheet (SDS), EH&S, and Haz Mat procedures, and ensuring proper storage and handling of materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Apply inventory control practices supporting traceability and accuracy by using first‑in‑first‑out material controls, recording inventory transactions correctly, maintaining stock counts, and preserving lot and material traceability.
  • Manage assigned work order flow within the production schedule by sequencing assigned jobs from the production queue and completing work in alignment with schedule commitments and LSOT requirements.
  • Identify and address quality issues during production execution by recognizing deviations from procedures or specifications, escalating issues promptly, and applying corrective actions within defined operator responsibilities.
  • Maintain accurate production and ERP records by performing required system transactions, documenting production activity, and executing electronic transfers and search functions in accordance with work instructions.
  • Maintain operational discipline during shift execution and handoffs by communicating equipment status, material conditions, and work‑in‑progress clearly, documenting deviations or issues, and ensuring continuity of production activities across shifts.
You Should Have
  • High school diploma or equivalency required; advanced credential preferred.
  • Proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • 1+ years of experience in material processing or manufacturing operations; chemical operations experience preferred.
  • Ability to operate industrial mixing and material‑handling equipment and follow written work instructions and process controls.
Salary

$21.79 hour for a 6 week assignment

Hours

Monday - Friday 7:30a‑4:00p

Dymax takes the compensation of its employees very seriously and considers several factors when determining the total compensation package including but not limited to location, market range, skills, knowledge, experience, and abilities. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Dymax salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range.

The range listed is just one component of Dymax’s total compensation packages for employees.
