Salary Range: $18.00 To $22.00 Annually

This position is on our afternoon shift. Mon - Fri 12pm – 8:30pm. Overtime may be available and/or required during busy periods.

A 10% shift differential is offered for this shift.

The Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Inspector:
Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) are described below:

IPCand/orJ-STD workmanship standards, in addition to internal quality standards.

Includesthefollowing,otherdutiesmaybeassigned:

• Review AOI inspection for accurate, consistent detection of SMT paste, component placement and solder joint defects.
• Using magnification aids and stereo-microscopes, inspect populated printed circuit boards and identify component misplacement and solder defects to IPC-A-610 standards.
• Recognize problems in the operation process or with components and communicate those problems to machine operator for immediate correction.
• Actively participates in quality initiatives by participating in problem solving, process improvements and performance measurements.
• Responsible for understanding & following company, and or manufacturing guidelines/procedures
• Responsible for product quality as defined by internal and external customers, work instructions, specifications and procedures.
• Responsible for following established safety rules & 6S
• Conduct in process and final inspections on PCB assemblies, sub-assemblies, and finished products
• Ensure that the product conforms to work instructions, IPC or J-STD standards, and internal quality/workmanship standards
• Identify and segregate nonconforming materials
• Complete daily inspection report denoting the acceptance and/or rejection rate all items in accordance with the standards defined within job traveler
• Supports supervisors and/or operators in the resolution of quality problems

• Ability to read & understand assembly documentation and all inspection criteria

• Musthaveahighschooldiploma/GED
• Previous soldering experience or training
• J-Std or IPC-A-610 certification required, or successful completion of certification program per an agreed upon timeline.

Work involves lifting of materials and product up to 30 pounds. Standing for up to 8 hours a day.
