Material Handler (Second Shift)

Jun 11, 2026 Summary Material Handler will transport material, supplies and finished products to designed location. This position is responsible for timely movement and coordination of production material on the manufacturing floor. Hours are 3:30 pm - 11:30 pm.
Responsibilities Receives, distributes, and stores products as directed in designated, secure locations. Prepares and maintains records of materials received and shipped including dates of transactions, locations, and other pertinent information. Reviews shipments for quality and accuracy; reviews accompanying documents for accuracy. Confirms shipping details or special instructions; expedites shipments that affect the manufacturing process schedule. Transports and loads materials, supplies, and finished goods (manually and/or using hand trucks and skids).
Performs the physical tasks involved in the movement of raw and finished goods to their assigned destination in a safe manner and in compliance with defined processes. Interacts and communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing with all customers, teammates and material coordinating personnel, both internally and externally, to ensure material is expedited safely, timely and accurately in accordance with production schedule.
Prepares workstations and work areas to ensure material is properly and adequately stocked and ready at point of use to support production for assigned and following shift. Participates in inventory cycle counting and reporting. Properly documents material movement as required. Collects and properly disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping; maintains a safe and clean work environment. Support and be supported by your teammates in all aspects of the operation.
Participate in and contribute to process improvements. Demonstrate willingness to perform other duties as assigned, including working overtime when necessary. Comply with the EH&S Policy and applicable regulatory and company EH&S rules and requirements Report to supervision conditions or practices that are either unsafe or that may adversely impact the environment, to ensure prompt resolution of potential hazards On a rotating schedule for the on-call phone Field Service, must be available during that week to answer all calls.
Required Skills/Abilities Excellent verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Good math and written communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Efficient time management skills.
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or other formal training in related field preferred. At least two years of related experience required. Work Environment / Physical Requirements Lifting, pushing, pulling and placement of manufacturing parts on a repeated basis, which may have a weight of up to 55 lbs. (or more with assistance) Ability to remain on feet and move from area to area within the Plant for a minimum period of eight (8) hours, with designated breaks (no tasks allow operators to sit while being performed).
Ability to perform repetitive motion tasks with full range of motion with both hands/arms: motions include circular, up and down, back and forth, side to side and overhead. Ability to work with, and around, chemicals, including but not limited to nickel based compounds, adhesives and solvent Be able and willing to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as designated such as safety glasses, safety shoes, hard hats, respirator, and other PPE as required.
