About This Role
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the ICU at Hartford Health Care provides critical care to complex medical and surgical patients in a supportive environment. This role is ideal for experienced nurses looking to make a significant impact in a community setting.
Highlights- Location: Torrington, CT
- Facility: Charlotte Hungerford Hospital
- Department/Unit: ICU
- Schedule: PRN, variable shifts
- Provide high-quality compassionate care to ICU patients.
- Monitor patients requiring mechanical ventilation and NIPPV.
- Utilize advanced technology for continuous monitoring of blood pressure, cardiac output, capnography, and oximetry.
- Collaborate with Intensivists, Clinical Leaders, RNs, and multi-skilled techs.
- Care for patients with respiratory failure, sepsis, and post-op complications.
- Assist in developing and implementing patient care plans.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
- Minimum one year Acute Care RN experience required
- Active Connecticut RN license required prior to start date
