Our services are designed in partnership with the Connecticut Department of Developmental Services (DDS) and emphasize person‑centered planning, stability and community integration.

Our goal is to help individuals develop the skills and confidence they need to lead fulfilling and socially-connected lives within their communities.

** Adult Community Living Arrangements (CLAs)*
* Our Adult Community Living Arrangements (CLAs) are DDS‑licensed homes in the community that provide long‑term support for adults, age 18 and older, with intellectual and developmental disabilities. These homes are designed to meet each individual's unique needs, while ensuring consistent assistance and supervision.

Professional staff provide 24/7 support, helping adults build skills related to personal care, meal preparation, household responsibilities, healthcare coordination, money management and social competence.

This program also emphasizes community integration, including participation in recreational activities, volunteer opportunities and other community‑based experiences. Families and guardians are actively involved in the treatment process, and services are coordinated with DDS and clinical providers as appropriate.

** Down Program*
* Our Children's Step‑Up/Step‑Down Program is a short‑term, highly structured residential program for children and adolescents, ages 8 to 21, with intellectual and developmental disabilities who require a temporary increase in support due to transition, destabilization or assessment needs.

This three-bed program provides a safe, supportive and structured environment where individuals can receive enhanced supervision, targeted skill-building assistance and individualized planning. The focus is on stabilization, assessment and the development of a clear transition plan aligned with DDS recommendations and next‑step placement needs.

We work closely with DDS' Children's Division to ensure continuity of care and successful transitions. The length of stay is goal‑driven and individualized based on each child or adolescent's needs and progress.
