Salary: $19.42 to $21.67 Per Hour
Job DescriptionThese are school‑year, 150‑day positions that include a comprehensive benefits package with medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement benefits, and paid leave in accordance with district policy. Candidates must meet the highly qualified requirements for paraprofessional positions. The start date is August 17, 2026, contingent upon the successful completion of all district pre‑employment requirements.
Responsibilities- Assist in the supervision, care and instruction of special education students in the regular classroom or in a self‑contained classroom.
- Assist in implementing plans for instruction.
- Monitor student behavior during non‑classroom time.
- Provide information to appropriate school personnel.
- Attend IEP meetings if required.
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Job‑related experience desired but not required.
- Required testing:
Para Pro Assessment Test or 48+ credits on college transcripts. - Continuing education:
Level I CPI Training, or equivalent, within 6 months of hire and annual renewal if required; professional development. - Clearances:
Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance.
