Food Service
Duties include assisting with food preparation and service at district schools as needed. Candidates are encouraged to obtain and maintain Serv Safe certification (district may provide training).
Employees and/or substitutes must have a current background clearance on file with GCSD#1 prior to working. See fingerprinting information on Employment home page.
Purpose Statement: The job of Cook was established for the purpose/s of providing support to the food service activities in the form of cooking, baking and preparing food items that meet mandated nutritional requirements and/or requests of students and school personnel; verifying quality of food and supplies; and maintaining facilities in a sanitary condition.
This job reports to the Food Service Director.
ExperienceJob related experience is desired.
EducationHigh School diploma or equivalent.

ClearancesCriminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance.
