This is an Elementary Reading Intervention Specialist/Title I position at Lincoln Elementary in Torrington, Wyoming, serving students in grades K-2. Position requires an Elementary Education endorsement with a Reading endorsement preferred.

The job of Elementary Reading Specialist was established for the purpose of facilitating student success in academic and interpersonal skills through implementing district approved curriculum; documenting teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; addressing specific educational needs of students’ providing a safe and optimal learning environment; and providing feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations, goals, etc.
This job reports to the building principal.

QualificationsExperience – Job related experience desired.
Education – Bachelors degree in related area.
Continuing Education / Training – Maintains PTSB certification by earning 5 credit hours per every 5 year renewal period.
Certificates & Licenses – Professional Teaching Standards Board Certification with Elementary Education K-6 endorsement; prefer additional Reading K-6 or K-12 endorsement.
Clearances – Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance.

Salary: $60,000 to $91,250 Per Year
