Sprinkler Systems Designer
Associated Fire Protection is seeking a skilled Sprinkler Systems Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing sprinkler systems for commercial and residential buildings. As a Sprinkler Systems Designer, you will be responsible for designing and drafting fire protection sprinkler systems that meet the requirements of local and national codes and standards.
Essential Functions include but are not limited to:
- Design and draft sprinkler and suppression systems for commercial and residential buildings.
- Ensure that all designs meet local and national codes and standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure successful project completion.
- Review and interpret project specifications and drawings.
- Prepare and submit project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and calculations.
- Knowledge and utilization of the AutoCAD system when designing projects.
- Attend project meetings and provide technical support as needed.
- Keep up to date with industry trends and advancements in fire alarm system design.
General Functions:
- Communicate effectively with customers as needed.
- Communicate effectively and work effectively with coworkers.
- Keep appointments and show up to work on time.
- Attitude and actions are in line with company's mission statement, vision and values.
- Show initiative by sharing ideas that may increase company profitability and help the company reach its goals.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, certificate in project manager, or related field is required.
- 2-5 years of experience with sprinkler design and project management experience is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills required.
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite is required.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines is required.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
Salary Description $80K- $120K
