CDL A Local Delivery Flatbed Driver Hazmat

SPP Totowa, NJ - 412A, 5 Taft Road, Totowa, New Jersey - 07512

Pay: $28 - $30 per hour plus bonuses!

Work Hours:

Dayshift, Monday - Friday

• Make safe, complete, accurate, and on-time deliveries to customers while complying with DOT and other regulations.
• Determine the most effective route to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Load and unload the vehicle, securing all products and separating hazardous material appropriately.
• Collect payments and accurately document deliveries.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, including FMCSR.
• Complete pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and notify supervisors of maintenance needs.
• Ensure the vehicle is clean, well‑maintained, and presentable daily.
• Continuously increase job and product knowledge.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• At least 21 years old.
• Valid commercial driver’s license, preferably with HAZMAT endorsement.
• Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and Pre‑Employment Screening Program (PSP) indicating no more than two combined violations or at‑fault accidents in the past three years.
• Ability to maneuver heavy objects up to 100 pounds.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with PCs and other material handling equipment (preferred).
• Experience with Moffett, Skelly or Air Brake is a plus.
