Part-Time CDL Class A Delivery Driver

Description

Royal Packaging/Distributors is seeking an experienced and dependable CDL Class A Driver to make palletized deliveries throughout New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. The driver will be responsible for transporting and unloading products safely and on schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Report to work early and depart on schedule.
• Operate a Class A commercial vehicle safely and professionally.
• Complete deliveries throughout New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload palletized products.
• Operate manual and electric pallet jacks.
• Verify products and quantities against deliver paperwork.
• Obtain customer signatures and return completed delivery documents.
• Perform and document pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery status and delays.
• Report shortages, damages, accidents, or vehicle problems immediately.
• Follow DOT regulations and all company safety procedures.
• Operate company vehicles equipped with GPS and camera systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized truck.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A driver’s license.
• Current DOT medical card.
• Acceptable driving record.
• Commercial delivery experience preferred.
• Experience driving in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.
• Ability to operate manual and electric pallet jacks.
• Ability to perform the physical work associated with palletized deliveries.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional with customers.
• Ability to complete delivery paperwork accurately.
• Must pass all required drug testing and driver qualification requirements.
