Warehouse Lead - Job Description

Location: Totowa, NJ. Cibo Vita is a consumer packaged goods manufacturer focused on high‑quality, innovative snacks under the Nature’s Garden brand.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise warehouse associates during daily operations.
• Assign work, monitor productivity, and ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Oversee shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment processes.
• Verify inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts and stock replenishment.
• Train, coach, and support new and existing warehouse employees.
• Enforce company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Coordinate with production, quality, and customer service teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and communicate operational issues to management.
• Assist with scheduling and daily workflow planning as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience, including at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Forklift experience required; forklift certification preferred.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and inventory software.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods (CPG) warehouse experience.
• Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and food safety standards.
• Experience with Lean or continuous improvement initiatives.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb throughout the workday.
• Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
