Nursery Practitioner - Level 2

We are hiring for one of our clients, an established early years education provider in , seeking a qualified Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to join their team.

The Nursery Practitioner will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and early years education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. The role involves supporting children’s learning, development, health, and wellbeing in a safe and stimulating environment.

• Provide a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for children.
• Plan and deliver appropriate activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Observe, assess, and record children’s development and progress.
• Support the key person approach and maintain positive partnerships with parents and carers.
• Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and hygiene policies are consistently followed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports as required.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the effective day-to-day operation of the nursery.
• Participate in team meetings, training, and continuous professional development activities.

• Full and relevant Level 2 Childcare qualification
• Experience working with children under 2 years
• Strong understanding of safeguarding practices
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Minimum 1 year experience in an Early Years setting
• Knowledge of the EYFS statutory framework
