We are hiring for one of our clients, an established early years education provider in , seeking a qualified Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to join their team.
About the RoleThe Nursery Practitioner will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and early years education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. The role involves supporting children’s learning, development, health, and wellbeing in a safe and stimulating environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for children.
- Plan and deliver appropriate activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
- Observe, assess, and record children’s development and progress.
- Support the key person approach and maintain positive partnerships with parents and carers.
- Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and hygiene policies are consistently followed.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports as required.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the effective day-to-day operation of the nursery.
- Participate in team meetings, training, and continuous professional development activities.
- Full and relevant Level 2 Childcare qualification
- Experience working with children under 2 years
- Strong understanding of safeguarding practices
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Minimum 1 year experience in an Early Years setting
- Knowledge of the EYFS statutory framework
