  • This is a paid, full-time, 11-week internship designed to give you real-world experience and meaningful exposure to the telecommunications industry in your chosen field.
  • Internship program runs from May 26 through August 6, 2027.
  • In addition to role‑specific projects, you’ll take part in professional development sessions, networking opportunities, mentorship and experiences that help you grow personally and professionally.

What you can expect in this role

As a Spectrum intern, you’ll spend the summer working alongside two teams: your respective department and your intern cohort.

Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You’ll spend the other 20% on internship experiences that include a kickoff conference, professional development sessions and networking activities, webinars, community service, cross-functional projects and final presentations.

This experience is designed to help you explore your interests, expand your network and leave with a deeper understanding of both your field and the impact of our business.

Internship responsibilities may include

Our team is responsible for assisting in the review and evaluation of the company's internal controls over financial reporting in conjunction with the company's Sarbanes Oxley compliance program. This job will perform on‑site tests of internal controls as required to help management determine whether internal controls are designed and operating effectively to sustain compliance with Sarbanes‑Oxley Section 404.

  • Intern will assist with various aspects of financial controls audit testing associated with the company's Sarbanes Oxley compliance process. Will work with audit software and interact with audit staff and process owners.
Required qualifications
  • Must be a rising junior or rising senior with an expected graduation date between May 2028 to May 2029
  • Must be currently enrolled at an accredited College or University completing a bachelor’s degree
  • Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
  • Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or needs for future sponsorship

  • Effective communication, problem‑solving, teamwork, initiative, time management, and organization
  • General understanding of Sarbanes‑Oxley Section 404
