Senior Sales Associate

Music & Arts is seeking a part-time Senior Sales Associate to drive sales and deliver exceptional service in our retail store. In this role, you'll guide students, parents, and educators in selecting band and orchestra instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons that fit their needs and budgets. You'll model strong product knowledge, lead by example on the sales floor, and help train junior associates.

Responsibilities include meeting sales goals, managing rentals and lesson enrollments, merchandising, POS transactions, and maintaining a friendly, inclusive, and education-focused environment that supports our mission of expanding access to music education.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers to understand needs and recommend appropriate instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons
• Achieve individual and store sales and rental goals while delivering excellent customer service
• Process sales, rentals, and lesson enrollments accurately through the POS system
• Support merchandising, stocking, pricing, and visual presentation of store products
• Assist in training and mentoring junior sales associates on products and sales techniques
• Coordinate with lesson staff and school service reps to support local music education programs
• Handle customer issues, returns, and service questions with professionalism
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment aligned with brand standards
