Guardian Angel Senior Services - Home Health Aide

Guardian Angel Senior Services is looking for a Home Health Aide who is a 5-Star Caregiver to provide light housekeeping and personal care services to the elderly and disabled in the comfort of their own homes.

  :
  Arrives on time, ready to work. Maintains an unblemished attendance record. Demonstrates flexibility and willingness to fill vacant shifts when needed.
• Thorough
  :
  Attentively follows designated care plans, taking care to understand client needs in order to address them. Updates Care Plans to reflect changes in client care and informs Management of same.
• Observant
  :
  Aware of a client’s unique personal and medical history so as to recognize changes, whether behavioral, physical, social, or psychological as they pertain to a client’s overall health and well‑being.
• Clear & Concise
  :
  Communicates professionally, tactfully, and with discretion in verbal exchanges with the client and family members. Records all activities and observations factually in the visit notes.
• Follow‑Through
  :
  Communicates with Management, ensuring that all issues, updates, changes, and concerns are reported to the office in a timely fashion.

Salary: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

• Must have valid Driver's license.
• Have own vehicle
• Available to drive 15 to 20 minutes
• Ability to write, read, and speak English fluently.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.

• Assist client with ambulation and mobility around the house
• Help with basic cleaning around the home
• Assist client with personal care and hygiene
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the client
• Assist with shopping errands
  
  Perform light housekeeping duties
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergencies
