Seeking a skilled Contract Printing Press Technician for the 2nd shift to operate and maintain advanced printing equipment in Townsend, MA. This role requires technical proficiency and attention to detail to ensure high-quality print production.
As a Contract Printing Press Technician, you will be responsible for the manual setup, operation, and troubleshooting of multi-color sheet-fed and high-speed continuous/web presses. You will ensure all print jobs meet quality standards and customer specifications while maintaining equipment performance.

Contract - SCHEDULE:
2nd Shift – 3:00pm to 11:00pm - PAY RATE: $23.00 hour
- Operate and manually set up multi-color sheet-fed or continuous/web presses, including custom and base forms work.
- Perform press setups such as loading correct stock, setting paper path and stretch, mounting plates, mixing PMS inks, and die registration.
- Adjust ink and water balance, ensure color matching, and set up print attributes like perforations, numbering, and file holes.
- Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and perform equipment adjustments including blanket changes, cleaning, and roller settings.
- Work under general direction from the team manager and collaborate with team members to uphold quality and service standards.
- Must be 18 years old and eligible to work in the USA.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 1 year printing experience.
- Contract position based in Townsend, MA.
- 2nd shift schedule from 3:00pm to 11:00pm.
