Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Job Overview
Repair and maintain machinery, mechanical/electrical equipment through inspection, troubleshooting, and evaluation to determine root cause of problems. Disassemble machines and repair or replace broken parts, adjust functional parts of mechanical devices as necessary, clean and lubricate parts, order replacement parts, and inspect completed repairs to return equipment to specifications. Adapt procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and equipment to meet special needs. Serve as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues.
BasicQualifications
- Minimum 18 years of age or older.
- At least 2 years of machine maintenance experience.
- Strong mechanical and electrical understanding of complex equipment.
- Proficiency with basic hand tools and power tools.
- Knowledge of machine tools and their use.
- Knowledge of basic electrical and electronic repairs.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 3 years of prior machine maintenance experience.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to follow diagrams, schematics, manuals, instructions, and engineering specifications.
The compensation range for this position is $28.00–$29.00 hourly. The position is eligible for an annual performance incentive plan. Base pay will vary based on job‑related knowledge, skills, location, experience, and internal equity.
